Computers

Harlan is happy to prepare our students with technology that supports 21st century learning. Below is a list of accommodations that we offer. 

Computer Lab

Students have access to a computer lab that is equipped with 30 computers that teachers can sign up for an a schedule.These computers help support problem solving skills, typing, teacher set learning goals, and a number of other educational skills.

This lab is also used for our standardized state testing. 

Laptop Carts 

Harlan is happy to have 2 laptop carts that rotate between the classrooms on a weekly basis. This type of rotation allows the "laptop lab" to come to the classroom. These laptops are used for everything that the computer lab is used for, just in the comfort of the teachers own room.

iPads

Each grade level classroom is equipped with a set of iPads that the students use for a number of educational goals. As these type of tablets are very familiar to students, the students genuinely enjoy learning on these devices.
